Anniversary, Friends and fun

Friday the 21st was our anniversary. Mike met me when I got off work, we went to my Mom and Dad's and borrowed my dad's motorcycle and drove up to Park City. We stopped at Tanger Outlet and got my Mom's birthday present. We then went to Ruth's Chris, thanks to a wedding gift certificate. We spent about 3 hours sitting out on their deck, eating a FABULOUS dinner and talking. Mike was like a little kid eating his steak. The steaks we got were delicious!!! We got free deseret thanks to it being our anniversary. We talked about a lot of things, the last year, our future, we made some new goals.
Saturday we had our monthly friends party and we went floating down the Provo river. We had so much fun and it was so relaxing. We talked and laughed all the way down. We kept getting caught in the branches which was quite funny at times. We all got a few scratches. Since we were so close, we went and hiked Bridal Veils Falls and took some fun photo's, we then went to dinner at one Mary Anne's favorite Mexican restaurant.
Sunday we had the amazing temple dedication for the Oqurihh Mountain temple. The talks were awesome and President Monson was funny and amazing as usual. The prayer was beautiful.
Thursday Mike surprised me by setting up a little get away without me knowing. Saturday He had talked to his friend Nicole who lives up in Kuna Idaho, 20 minutes out of Boise, with her husband Nathan. Nathan is a head trainer up their on a ranch, they live on it as well. We stayed with them and they taught us so much about horses and everything that goes into it. We asked probably a thousand questions. We had some awesome riding lessons as well. I knew a little bit about riding and mike new very little. It was a extremely fun, relaxing and educational weekend. Hope to visit them again soon.
The best part is, Utah football starts in just 2 days!!! YAY
