Update

Here you go Heidi :) I have a new goal to update this on Sunday afternoons. So much has happened since I have last updated this!!
We were recently in Lake Powell June 28th-July 5th. It was awesome as usual. Water was pretty warm, weather was great, really only had 2 small storms rather then the usual daily. Mike got to learn so much. He learned how to drive the houseboat, the boat, pull a skier, he got a up on my double boot competitive ski and so much more. We hiked, wave runner, swam, ate, read a lot of books, slept and played games. The kids were awesome. Jordan (3 yrs old) tried water skiing. Megan 8, Halie 7, and Issac 4, we couldn't stop from jumping off the top of the house boat, which is about 20 feet, or from water skiing. Bella 1 yr and Sam 18 mths didn't want to stay out of the boat or wave runners. We tie-died tee shirts and made a huge fire for smores, and watched the neighbors shoot off fireworks. My dad was a little crazy and ended up gettting a ticket, oops, but lucked out and only got it for 1 situation rather then the 4 it could've been. We got to sit at the end of the dock on the 4th of July and watch the fireworks shooting off from Page, Arizona
July 11th, we got to go to Mapleton and spend the day with some good friends before they leave for Podiatry school. We took his CJ out and went 4 wheeling up Spanish for canyon and went to a small reservoir, walked around the lake, had lunch, shot some guns, pushed a tree over and just played around and talked for a while. We went back, went hot tubing, ordered a pizza and watched 310 to Yuma (clean version). It was a great day, which unfortunately had to end. We will miss them but wish them the best.
For the 24th, we went swimming with the family and then met some friends for some fireworks at Liberty park. We had the best spot, we got to see them shoot off fireworks as well as watch them go off. Saturday we helped our home teacher move and then went out to Antelope Island and were going to go for a 10 mile mountain bike ride. It didn't exactly happen that way. We had a 74 year old guy, named John, join up with us at about mile 3 and things went down from there. The road was really sandy in some areas and so we had to walk parts. John then got a flat in his tire, we couldn't find the whole so just re in flatted it up, just in case he was running low to start. We he wasn't. We couldn't find the whole to even patch it, and he didn't have a spare and we didn't have one. So we road/slashed walked the next 7 miles. About mile 6 mike grabbed his keys and followed his directions to get his car and meet us where the trail ended and the service road began. Well he had know idea which way anything was. Mike road an extra 5-10 miles, still couldn't find his car, but some really nice people drove him around trying to find it, but never could. He was still looking for it, when we got to the trail head and called him. They came and picked us up and finally found John's car. We then got a ride to our car and left. What was supposed to be about 1 1/2 turned into 4 hours. I only put some sunscreen on and didn't take any with us, needless to say, my arms and shoulders and quite burnt. I have been so careful not to get burnt, I even got a TAN in :ake Powell, yes I am serious, I had tan lines, real tan lines, not even one burn line.
We have done lots of other fun things too. Picnics up the canyon, bees games, motorcycle rides and a few other things. We are trying to have more fun lately rather then allowing managing the apartments taking over our lives which it has been the last while. We weren't having enough fun and starting to resent it. Hopefully with our new plan, we can keep managing and still do the things we want. We are young and newly married and don't have kids yet. We should be out having fun, going away for the weekends whenever we want rather then just working here. Wish us luck. See you next Sunday!!! Hope you have a good week.
